Smoking the meatballs creates a great flavor and they’re so moist and juicy, I love to eat them just by themselves. They’re so delicious and have been my go to recipe for an easy week night meal. The smoked meatballs are great in a pasta dish like spaghetti with red sauce AKA spaghetti and meatballs or a meatball stroganoff… trust me this is delicious. I love to make meatball subs, add these to a hoagie bun with marinara sauce and top with mozzarella cheese, this makes an easy meal that everyone would love.
I make extra of these meatballs and freeze them for an quick and easy meal when I do not have anything planned or forget to take a protein out of the freezer. These smoked meatballs make a great camping meal that’s why I always freeze the extras. When using these as a camping meal, I will either make meatball subs or the fire or a dutch oven pasta dish over the campfire.
